"Dashing through the Snow..." it's a Christmas activity as well as a carol.  This scene happens to be outside Von Steuben's headquarters, near Valley Forge, PA, some time in the latter nineteenth century, but it could be anywhere and any time.  The joy it evokes, however, exists mainly in the heart; hopefully, all of the time.
