He still raises horses.  Jezebel is too old to pull a carriage or sleigh any more, so he walks her on the usual trail, past the homestead where he once lived.  As they pause to look at the disused sleigh and abandoned house, he thinks he sees mist gathering in the shadows.  The old mare's ears turn back; she neighs once.  Then he sees it...why, it's an apparition of long-gone Princess, the great-grandmother of Jezebel...she's towing the sleigh again, just as she used to do, so  many years ago.
