Sugar Shack

Original Pastel (SOLD)

Size:  16"X 20"

As early as February in Pennsylvania the sap starts to rise in the maple trees.  It's time to get out the old buckets and start gathering firewood for boiling that sap, gathered from as many maples as possible.  When the snow melts off the roof and smoke starts billowing out, that old sugar shack looks just like it did in the old days, when it was a factory producing amber gold.
